Just as democracy is a community which gives value to its individuals, collaborative work takes delight in the art of piecing together. Yet, without hierarchy, can a democratic approach to art truly exist? The result will yield an assemblage of all parts; will it be disarray, or an ordered chaos? A mess, or something profound?
